Implementation Roadmaps: fourth report released

The World Water Council, in collaboration with Korea Water Forum and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of the Republic of Korea, is publishing the fourth and last edition of the Progress Report on Implementation Roadmaps. A final publication on the IRs will be developed for the 8th World Water Forum and will aim at sharing successful case studies, lessons learnt and contribution to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Through the signature of a Partnership Agreement, ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability, United Cities and Local Governments, the Brazilian Confederation of Municipalities and the World Water Council committed to work together to address the important role that local and regional authorities and operators play in managing and providing water and sanitation for their populations while safeguarding water resources and to support cities in rising to this challenge.

Deadline Extended – King Hassan II Great World Water Priz

The Government of Morocco and the World Water Council are launching the 6th edition of the King Hassan II Great World Water Prize, one of the world's great distinctions in the water sector. The Prize will be awarded during the 8th World Water Forum in Brasilia (Brazil) with a grant of US$100,000. All candidatures must be submitted before 31 December 2017.
